But that is exactly the excuse Danny is giving! If he's claiming that eBAY hurt BRAV's business, why would that change now? Also consider this, the holidays are not a time people are buying for themselves and bragging to their friends about where they got it, it is a time for buying for others and where it came from doesn't matter because it came from 'you' or Santa or whatever. Holiday shoppers are looking for the best prices, not the name of the business. Those who are interested in the name sure aren't going to brag about some site nobody's heard of, they'll go to the big department stores with the bags everyone recognizes. Vivavuva is too late to capitalize on this holiday season, maybe they will be on track for Xmas 2014. Assuming Danny doesn't change directions again.

The VV brand is about fashionable clothes and attractive models. Women will be much more likely to brag about buying something from VivaVuva than from ebay.

Or perhaps they'd prefer paying a fraction of what it costs for the same article of clothing.

I'm not a young lady or teenager, but I do buy some of my clothing (shoes mainly and polo shirts) on ebay. I save alot of money doing that....and I don't have to tell anyone where I got them, or I can lie and say I bought then at Macys (or in your example, Vivavuva) and no one will be the wiser.
