Yes they are local.
From the best I can tell, there is nothing proprietary about what they are offering. I have been searching for a proprietary cloud computing play for a couple years...finally found one and Wall Street is too.

Two things you should take away from ICLD's share price activity.
1. the cloud computing space is starting to ramp
2. the profit margins are extremely high

You have to understand the massive shift occurring from processing on a device to processing on the cloud.

Personally I want to own the OS/software that makes cloud computing possible for ANY application on ANY device :)
