At least you didn't elect the guy that wanted to stop all Americans at the borders and called all of us criminals.
Wars have shown us (unfortunately) that there are many good men from many countries. The Canadians have held up their end many times as have the Aussies and Poles. Both Canada and the US have been altered by immigration but only the native North Americans can say they were here first. Both you and I have an ancestral heritage from somewhere else.
The US and Canada share many things in common and are probably more closely related than most other countries.
