$3000 into $10,800 in 48 hours playing DUST calls :
Once the FOMC notes came out, folks started betting on the LACK of any developments as a bullish sign for the dollar... as there was no Dovish talk... bullish dollar means bearish Gold and Miners was my play (as it always is). Of course DUST ramps on Wednesday luring me in for the calls only to lose 10% in the final 30 minutes. My 33 and 32.50 calls were down 75% in a matter of minutes. I help and on Thursday saw the weakness in GOLD as an opportunity to get more calls, albeit lower strikes. Sure enough ABX reports an offering and GOLD is weak... DUST hits 34.60+ and my calls hit paydirt. Didnt sell at the top or these calls wuld be worth $13k, but came darn close:
