I am not focused on the current timetable for the DCVax-Direct trial. I am concerned about the trial that was about to begin in 2003. The PRs in 2003 were very upbeat. That was their breakthrough treatment. Something happened to shelve the vaccine. And something happened to revive it. Whatever the reasons are for both should be disclosed by NWBO. It could be asked in a conference call, but Linda doesn't do them.
Yes, there could be an improved version of the vaccine. But if so, why not highlight that when the trial was being publicized? And that still doesn't answer why the trial in 2003 never took off or why they think now is the time.
Presumably, since they dove into the trial head first with Anderson, that "something" that caused them to do the trial now (that wasn't disclosed publicly) might be very favorable. If that is the case, I might buy more now.
I just think there's a big gap in investors' understanding of how the company made the decision to proceed as they did.
