So you're saying that it was a learning experience that may very well work out in his favor. If he had it to do over, would he do anything differently? Would he spend $4.6M to make repairs? That would be a good beer or ouzo conversation with Peter. The fact remains that, by all known info (PR or 8-K soon?), he hasn't given up on the Ocean Star Pacific.

Peter was director of technical operations with Carnival for several years and has more than 20 years experience in Maritime Industry. Yes he didn't have experience running large company but you dont need to have one to be sucessful, all you need is knowledge of the business and you should know whom to contact and get help from in case you need related to finance, partnership, logistics etc. There are numerous examples of starup CEO being successful without any prior experience. There are setbacks in building business but can they overcome it.

Getting 17 mil assets on the books with additional asset back financing if 16 mil is not small thing despite facing lots of challenges. Peter has come through in a big way.
