Sorry howwierd, I don't think I was totally clear either. What caught my attention was the fact that, the "Beechcraft C-12 Huron" (manufactured by Beechcraft) is specified, but the aerostat is just stated as "an aerostat". Hopefully they're talking about only an LTAS aerostat, but my guess is that the payload will be switched out and tested via more than just LTAS's aerostat. That is an uneducated guess on my part, and if i'm wrong, and if it does perform very well, then that should be very good news for all longs.

Yes, another wait and see.

I do not personally expect any other companies to have aerostats there. I actually saw a print article that mentioned the BiB specifically but I can't find it now. I think it may have been AFCEA's print version of Signal. If I find it, I will scan it and Dropbox it here. IMO the BiB will be the only aerostat in the evaluation. JMO IndyJonesOhio
