If the Valentine situation is that serious of an issue, it should be disclosed in quarterly filings. I don't think there is a connection. The gravity report (if there is one), surely doesn't belong to Valentine, does it? If so, it would be posted on the BaseMinerals website. Same goes for the ASCON report.
As for digging holes trying to find barite, this is the result of no exploration and no feasibility study. It surely is not a good sign, and if they are having to scrounge for barite, it does not bode well that much barite is being produced.
If MBMI really is willing to discuss issues like this in a public forum, I would be surprised.
