#234591 RE: waveduke #234586

hi duke,

i am not sure if you were one of those who was cautious about the timeline all along. i tend to lump clusters of posters in a non-granular way.

but for sure, there were smaller clusters of folks who have been saying all along that the market would require critical mass to get going. and who then said that gm was possibly an isolated customer example and not to get too excited. and who worried about wave's cash and the dilutive effects of a grand strategy. and who then said to look at the breadth of the market rather than major orders to see if momentum was building.

and then there were those who saw the first tpms and said, "vindication". and who saw gm and said "it's here". and who discounted the risks of negative cash flows. and who said sswas a genius and little else was relevant.

there were also those who said the ceo had to go when many others were focussed on preserving both the ceo and the directors.

the folks who said all the muddle-headed, optimistic stuff seem to look backwards and forget they looked forwards in exactly the same way previously. words to the effect of "looking backwards, we hadn't reached critical mass. but looking forwards from now, we have. now we have enough tpms. now the industry agrees with us, etc"

i just watch the demand curve. i don't need to be prescient.
