You can't ignore the possibility. BP might be afraid of the MACE reduction capability of Vascepa, which could be more powerful than Statins and other drugs in BP's pipeline. THe NCE delay might be explained by the same theory.

Here is the short question you can answer for me then:

Why is the FDA bringing up the Mineral Oil issue then?

No one has offered a valid reason Or hypothesis.

Why: Because it makes no sense.

Why did the numbers increase with mineral oil? I think they would have increased if it were a water pill. Lovaza's test proved similar numbers.

So if the FDA sees the same (meaning its not relevant) then why bring it up?

In my opinion so the panel acknowledges the same to put it to bed.

Someone is pushing the issue to the FDA. Its not Amarin and its not the FDA (in my opinion)...
