No IMO it is Not Related However when Fred Leonberger spoke at the shareholders meeting he did say that would be "borrowing" wireless technology for some of the devices.

As info DB if you are looking around and see other 100 gig Modulators dig deeper and you will usually find that they

1.) Require Expensive Protection
2.) Only work for a few brief seconds in a lab somewhere.
3.) are not true 100 gig they are 10 x 10 or something similar.
4.) use Multimode fiber which need to be amplified every so often and are only good for a short distance.

Good Luck, they finally got it to work in an actual device, not just on a slide, there will be numerous paths forward as soon as they get all the tweaking done. With this news I'm Not sure how many investors will still be willing to sell below a buck but it looks like at least one of the big guys so gather em up while they are laying them on the table, it looks like for a few weeks now they are just selling for the sake of selling without looking ahead.

Some of you other guys (spooks) I found this rather interesting "the optical signal is guided by a silicon waveguide structure with an organic polymer cladding layer above the waveguide to provide the electro-optic effect" The term ABOVE Rather than IN.

Think about it.

Busy Day
