In the extrusion business of LLDPE, PP, PE and others many additives are used to achieve desired characteristics of the end product. In many instances, specified surface characteristics are desired and R&D has invented additives that "bloom" to the surface of the film, strand or other substrate.
I can't forget the casing being described as "hardened."
That's a great list. Wonder why the BD/sales group can't seize it. It sounds like the accounts they approached were maybe too big ( requires second sourcing; a stumbling block).
