Lux is just another promoter, with a slightly different angle. I don't think he actually takes money to pump stocks. If he does, he doesn't publicize it. He's been a big NSS crusader for a long time.

I think the idea behind what he does is to appeal to the NSS and Get Shorty freaks so they'll buy his books and other publications.
