The thing that I like about GSA sales as a seller is that they are quick, easy and low risk. The advantage of having a pre negotiated price is great. Deals go down quickly because there is no negotiation required other than Terms and Conditions. Both buyer and seller have no worries about the deal coming back to haunt them at audit time, so it is easy to get management signoff. Backup for certificates of cost and pricing is eliminated. The icing on the cake is that each deal does not renegotiate the price. Since there is no requirement to use GSA pricing it does not stand in the way of significant RFP's but it may be used if appropriate.
