I bought shares in 2009 in Southern, great company, forward thinking (I still own them).

Be cool to see Southern (SO), MVTG and ALSTOM team up to do a pilot plant demo at one of their coal fired power plants with US DOE funding.

Southern is a diverse Utility, owns every kind of power plant out there including several major US DOE experimental designs. They are building the only single new Nuclear plant in the USA since the 1970s.
