Jim, I suppose at these prices, QCOM might agree with you... but do you honestly think they could buy IDCC at the current stock price? I highly doubt it. They would have to buy IDCC at some premium - let's say $60 a share. I would argue that IDCC would be richly valued at that price (and I would sell my shares).
I personally don't think QCOM would want to take out IDCC until IDCC can prove they can have success selling chipsets. We're about a year away from knowing the answer to that question.
BTW, my sister said it was in the 80s in Chi-town today. It was in the low 60s and raining here. What's the world coming to?
