I understand that APPL has rights to use Liquidmetal in perpetuity however the agreement for exclusivity is up for renewal in February. Obviously Samsung cannot have exclusivity rights to Liquidmetal. However, if LQMT does not agree to yet another agreement extension of APPL's exclusivity rights in February then Liquidmetal would be open to all CE venues. It's up to APPL to prove that this restriction in the CE market is worth another renewal of the agreement. Also if there is a gentleman's agreement that states that Apple debuts Liquidmetal first, then we could have contracts waiting for Tuesday to be announced. (For all, yes this is speculation but a new avenue of discussion)
