The battery used in the coming iPhone will likely be a Lithium-Ion battery. My point was that there are more recent articles on which to base your assumption. The following article from Forbes includes a video, however it, too, is still only supposition.

Los Angeles tech maven Jonathan Morrison from TLDToday borrowed that leaked iPhone 5S backplate from blogger Sonny Dickson and tried an experiment. In the video above, he takes apart an iPhone 5 and tries to see if he can reconstruct a working unit running the beta of iOS 7 inside the purloined matrix.

The failure of the experiment points to the success of the next iPhone. Far from being just a skin on top of the existing iPhone, the 5S will be configured slightly differently to accommodate a larger battery and a new processor (rumored to be a 31% faster, dual-core A7.)
