The $8 million in intangibles is probably items which should have been expensed. Some others have discussed this here, and they are sniffing down the right track.

It's all accounting flim-flam.

They own all of the locations. and there are twelve not 8.

We don't really know how many locations are open. The financial statement says eight. Altogether they have claimed 13, with the recent two new additions in Florida. They have never bothered to PR the closing of the three locations that do not show in the financials.

The company is worth nothing.

Only one location is a partnership, in which the partner bought the real estate as a separate transaction. All the other locations are rented spaces in parking lots. These are movable units. They require not much more than being hitched to the back of a heavy duty pick-up truck.

If you go to the website of the Courts of Washington State, and navigate, you will find that BH, his associates and their companies have been sued more than one hundred time, individually or as a group. They have lost on several occasions but hardly no one has been able to collect. The Fiori case alone amounts to more than all the value that can be assessed to all the physical goods.
