The CEO actually said "the treasure game is the new frontier"? Funny stuff. Probably true for the last generation of divers. Last year a US court chilled that notion when Odyssey Marine had to hand over recovered items to the Spanish government and go away empty-handed. Why go through all the time, cost and effort when a judge simply takes it away with the bang of a gavel? That convoluted emerald story with Miscovich hasn't worked in our favor yet either. With a can't-go-lower SP and no viable plan to correct, this dinghy can't get off the sea bed.
Having ORRV on my portfolio list is a constant splash of cold water in the face that I am always capable of making really bad choices.

allyboys. If trust is an issue, then ORRV is in trouble. NO boat. Taken for lack of payment (Not good for trust) No crew. Left for lack of payment (Not good for trust) No equipment. taken by aforementioned crew for payment owed (Also not good for the trust issue) Past mentions of things they were working on that never happened. Not good. See a trend here?

The only thing we keep hearing about is what someone ELSE is doing. Someone ELSE found emeralds (if he did, but that's a different story) and we own 5% of that company. Okay, that's fine. But that is an investment ORRV has made. The company itself should have something going on TOO. Not just "We own someone ELSE'S company at a 5% level, and we are just being pulled along on THEIR coat strings". They should be diving. They are not. Not with no boat. Oh, and did I mention no PERMIT? No area to work on.

I see no reason why people continue to show ANY trust in this company, or any faith in the stock. Shoot - I see a different firm that has 1) four boats. 2) a nice permit with the DR government 3) a second permit within the DR from an association where they are also diving, and 4) more than one crew, currently DIVING on those areas. And they TOO are looking to raise money. Where do you think serious money will go? to ORRV, with nothing? Or to a company that has shown treasure for ITSELF in the past few months, has boats they OWN, has a new headquarters in Tampa to STORE all the treasure they get when they do their divisions with the DR government, and has a proven track record? Sure, I can see someone throwing $100 into ORRV as a lottery ticket. But someone throwing large money? the kind that is needed to succeed in this business? Nope. Not here. Not when the competition has all the ingredients IN PLACE and this one has NOTHING. I think this is a dead company. Personal opinion. The other company isn't publicly traded yet, but they ARE raising private money, and the BIG money cares less whether it is public or private, as long as they show an intent to go public by next year. So with a better product (company) out there also looking for money, I don't see the money coming for ORRV. Not the high quality money that is needed.

The emeralds? I don't know what the future will hold for Jay and the emeralds, but I still feel that no matter what Jay gets, by time he runs through the expenses of JTR and all that, he will NOT be giving ORRV much money, if ANY, for their 5% interest. If he is smart (And if they work out at the higher values) he will use the proceeds of the sale to dive with and enhance his OWN company. That will give ORRV some equity in something worth some money, but not give ORRV any money of its own to do anything on its own. they need to raise money. Not going to happen, IMHO. Things can change, but for now I think this is one to watch, but watch from the sidelines, as they have nothing to offer. Or throw a lottery ticket into it (I have not) but not serious money. that goes to the competition. make logical sense?

Seems like some of us could be 6' under by the time anything moving the pps higher happens? It would be great to get some kind of a pr letting us know anything that is in the plans? Almost a year and half with nothing? The amount of shares trading does make me wonder? Maybe another 1,000,000 shares wouldn't hurt for $100. Only my opinion
