Intermagnetics General Corporation's Energy Technology subsidiary, SuperPower, Inc., announced that it has been awarded a $10.7 million follow-on contract from the U. S. Department of Defense Title III program to partially underwrite the cost of R&D for second-generation high-temperature superconducting wire development.
