I don't post much in general.

As a general point, I don't think you can ever conclude somebody's motives from what they post on the board. Could they be shorting? Maybe. They could also be bashing in general, trolling a specific person, or even trying to scare others into selling on the bid. They could be people having a bad day, or even be getting paid to bash so some other party can try to load.

The point of saying all of that is that when you say bashers "had no interest", that's something WAY different than saying they were short, imo.

Personally, I think shorting sub-pennies is much less prevalent than most people think ... there's a lot of risk and potentially a LOT of cost as StockDog pointed out.
