I received a reply to my inquiry. It is a natural gas heater.
Two others that alibaba had listed as Microwave are both electric resistance.
There doesn't seem to be any microwave units out there still. I was just checking as it had been a year or so since I last googled!

Gewei is the biggest manufacture and supplier in China. Maybe WDRP could work with them if they ever invent anything ready for a manufacture.
