Yes its becoming more and more difficult to stop this stuff being installed on your computer. Many sites and updates do it without even telling you, until its too late.

Even Adobe Flash updates now include by default the McAfee tool bar, you have to carefully look for the checkbox and Uncheck it before updating otherwise its automatically installed.
