Do you have Windoze XP?...If you do...

Do a 'System Restore' to a time before things got messed up.

Set the HD jumpers up as a slave and put it into another computer with the other HD set as the Master. Be sure that the master is the end of the ribbon cable.

Then boot thecomputer and go into Start/all programs/accessories/windows explorer and see if you can read the drive.
