Most computers have search capability. If they are connected to the internet. Even "LAPTOPS". Heck, even what were once plain old cell phones. One can even get on the internet for free at all the WI-FI hotspots.

I think it is entirely possible that cdex has contracted for the services of a LAB and did not like the returns. Why screw up the game?? Just get GUDE OLE JIM to write up a white paper. Peer reviewed, of course. LOL!! After all ain't he sorta independent???

And before that get some doddering old PROF to watch a hocus pocus demo of ELF, as it picks out which sand filled plastic bucket of a trio of them has the "pea". And write perhaps the most ignored white paper in history on the virtues of that worthless gadget.

One mud have known he was a member of the ASHP in 2010. Geez. He could have stayed a member had he chose to.

But here is a little info on the Doctor:

James G. Stevenson, Pharm.D., FASHP, is the Chief Pharmacy Officer at University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and a Professor and Associate Dean for Clinical Sciences at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. Dr. Stevenson received his undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Wayne State University. He then joined the faculty at the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. He served as Assistant Director for Clinical Services, and subsequently as Associate Director for Patient Care, Education and Research Services in the Department of Pharmaceutical Services at West Virginia University Hospitals, before being appointed Director of Pharmaceutical Services.

In 1991, he assumed the position of Director of Pharmacy Services at Detroit Receiving Hospital and University Health Center and Director of the Graduate Program in Health Systems Pharmacy Management in the Wayne State University College of Pharmacy. In 1997, Dr. Stevenson was named Executive Director of Pharmacy Services for the Detroit Medical Center. In 1999, Dr. Stevenson joined the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and the College of Pharmacy.

He is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and has been recognized as Pharmacist of the Year by both the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Michigan Pharmacists Association.

He has also been honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Wayne State University College of Pharmacy and the Joseph Oddis Leadership Award by the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

He completed a term of service on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and was selected to receive the 2010 John W. Webb Lecture Award. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Hospital Pharmacy Section of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

His major research interests are in pharmacy practice management, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacy informatics, and medication safety.
