That is the silliest thing I read today.

Any product made that uses electricity at some time will have problems, most us know this, and do not want to own a electric powered car.

Electric powered cars will be abundant in 10 years.

So you believe gas powered cars don't have problems?

WDRP was in the electric car business before water heaters.

I have stated many times before on this board that, imo and in my analysis the ONLY way Wanderport will have a successful consumer market product is if they are able to show significant reduction in total cost of ownership (per year over lifespan) compared to other water heaters of all types.
As I see it any Wanderport unit will have significantly higher initial cost (for amount of hot water available) and electrical requirements (hence higher initial installation costs). However, the product will at best be equal to the electric competition in terms of efficiency of changing electric power to heat in water. That means that to be competitive it will require a low continuing maintenance hassle/cost and a long lifespan.
