IMO you are getting too carried away on the subject of resolvins (and protectins)..Resolvins are more like hydrogen bombs are to warfare..At present they are known to be extremely powerful, but at present it is unclear how to use them...Remember none of the eicosanoids travel in the blood stream all of them are expressed locally and act locally at the cell level..So you can not just inject them...

IMO..even though aspirin in combo with EPA does produce some resolvins, aspirin also inhibits the positive effect of EPA on the COX1 and COX2 receptors...these positive effects are more important than the resolvins under normal circumstances.
