Perhaps a co-promotion deal with revenue/royalty split, with Amarin sales force continuing to detail cardiologists, other specialists and high prescribing physicians (...for ostensibly the Marine patient population).
Big pharma then takes on the PCPs with a huge sales force(...for ostensibly the Anchor patient population).
Large upfront milestone payment (to dispel any dilution fears and to fund the Anchor launch) followed by numerous other milestone payments as sales thresholds are met.
A contingent deal could be struck now if Amarin wanted.
Any such deal would likely be a prelude to a buy out in 2014.
The rest of the world doesn't get much airtime with Amarin unfortunatley which is a shame becasue its a big market and getting bigger....
