I can't remember the sayings, but I remember the theory.

It's just not a good idea to buy any stocks when the market just crossed under the 50 day MA.

I could buy this for less than I sold, but I think I'll wait until the dust settles in the market.

Watch TLT as an indicator. When it flattens, the market will be more settled. It closed on a 52 week low, and I expect carnage in the AM. Stocks might attempt to rally anyway, but the general trend is to expect higher income, ie. lower prices.
