You are probably right about some of this, but shouldn't a company who takes all of the assets, and owns the controlling shares do a legal dissolution of the shell?
Maybe somebody should look into the liability of controlling ownership regarding the interests of minority shareholders?
Maybe you can mention it when you talk to the governement?
