Before embarking on another flight of fancy maybe it would have been good to have read the full caption under the photos of the goat ?

In June 2013, ERHC's delegation traveled to Kenya for meetings with community and government leaders who enthusiastically received the Company. Here, President and CEO Peter Ntephe (white shirt) and Exploration Manager, Gertjan van Mechelen (red shirt) accept a local village's welcome gift of a goat. They are accompanied by Mr. Felix Mutunguti, a Senior Superintendent Geologist with the Kenya Ministry of Energy (blue shirt) who accepted a goat as well. Under terms of ERHC's PSC for Kenya Block 11A, the Ministry facilitates community contact, and Mr. Mutuguti was assigned to accompany ERHC to present letters of introduction from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy.

"

Getting the goats early shows good, solid planning by management and hopefully should expedite things...I'm sure it takes quite a bit of research to explore the proper lineage and pedigree of these meticulous goats, i.e. contract arbiters"

Tryoty ~ "I suspect that the goat was a gift to ERHC, a *very* strong sign of a good relationship. If it was the other way around and the goat was a gift from ERHC to the Kenyan's, then my hat is off to the foresight of this management team... they gave an inexpensive gift (in our country) that was received as a bag of diamonds would be here.

In either case... the goat was excellent politics, whichever direction it was heading"
