Appiphany Technologies commenced operations as a diversified technology company in June of 2009. Appiphany Technologies is a publicly traded company under the symbol “APHD”. Their business is based around the use of new technologies in the consumer market.

MMA Animals is the world’s first 3D animated brand based on the sport of Mixed Marital Arts. Currently there are eight different mixed martial artists animals from eight different regions of the planet. It is all about the journey a marital artist takes when adapting their fighting style to the sport of MMA.
Each character will represent a different martial art like Karate, Judo, Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, Mauy Thai Kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do to name a few. We will continue to release new characters as the brand develops.
Augmented reality is a term for a live direct view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory inputs such as 3D models acting out a scene from a page with sound, props, and even interactions. Our MMA Animals episodes will make their way into a paperback book.
The books will contain the same art on each page however the text will be released for reading levels from grade K – 5 based on the standard set in school district 23 in the Okanagan. These paper back story books aren’t your average story books.
They come with information to download a free mobile application that acts as a viewer. When the users look at the pages of the books through the application the pages come to life! The process of creating augmented reality paperback books will be developed as a service for other businesses to utilize.
