the Markman is being overstated by everyone on this board - it only means the case can move forward - it isnt a judgment - the language of a patent is a matter of law for a judge to decide, not a matter of fact for a jury to decide - it can encourage a settlement (in this case it will not) - i believe that if WDDD gets a good result from the hearing the stock will trade to 80 cents - and then sit - why? this is a battle that could take YEARS from the Markman to get to court - do you guys on here understand what this means??? the Markman is one tiny step in the right direction... that's all... given that the stock has declined over the past 2 weeks - on muted volume - it tells me one thing: the market is VERY long this stock and there is VERY limited upside...
there is one problem here - the Markman isnt a lawsuit victory over Activision - don't you understand this? it is a PRE-trial hearing - thats ALL it is! it's a tiny step towards winning a lawsuit - trust me - Activision has taken it this far - they aren't settling - and they are willing to go the distance - WDDD has little shot here - this is a HUGE gamble - you realize how hard it will be to win a lawsuit here? how long that will take? Markman win and this stock MAYBE goes to 80 cents - MAYBE... everyone is so focused on this Markman hearing and thinking the ruling is positive and the stock goes to $2 - that's NOT happening - there is virtually no short interest in this stock - none - volume traded is tiny - the market is net long - upside to $2? $5? no chance - no time over the next 2 years will you see WDDD at or above $2! MARK my words...
and i'm long 60k shares as a punt - but that's all this is - a punt... it's not a real stock and a gamble of an "investment" - thats all this is...
