During the conference call, Howard indicated the NOK battle was over.

He specifically said there was a (not overly long) period for negotiation, which could go to arbitration. But no mention of another licensee.

After lying during the conference call, and failing to sign Ericy to 3G, what gives you confidence that we'll see NOK resolved this year?

Please tell when you think we will hear about the NOK and Samsung payments for 2002 for their 2G & 2.5G usage. This I believe is the source of our panic selling today.

Nokia’s royalty obligation for 2002 could be in the range of $100 million to $120 million and Samsung’s royalty obligation for 2002 could be in the range of $22 million to $27 million.

No one knows if the company is going to collect this full payment or will we be settling for pennies on the dollar via arbitration. Once this NOK and Samsung issue is cleared, we could see $3.00 cash for 2003, and man am I holding out for this piece of the puzzle to be revealed. Someone posted earlier today, that they thought management would know in the next week, I sure hope that this is the case. Never a dull moment with the IDCC team.
