ex,

I'm curious why you would even ask that question. I wouldn't think that you would pretend to not know the credentials of DR. Garnick so I'm left wondering why you would ask that question.

Is it just a setup for you to diminish his accomplishments and qualifications? Let's see where you take this.

In response to your question:

"During his 24-year career at that company [Genentech], he was responsible for 17 new product approvals, including most of the company's top selling monoclonal antibody therapeutics such as Rituxan, Herceptin, Avastin and Lucentis."

"Rob has an unparalleled track record in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, having led the regulatory, quality and compliance strategy for developing many of the most successful monoclonal antibody therapeutics currently on the market representing multiple disease areas,"

Its very simple....if Peregrine (Bavi) was not the real deal, they would have "never" brought in Garnick. Most companies that are are stretching out their salaries "do not" continue to bring more ex-G men constantly....also, they wouldnt have placed Bavi up against soo many cancers all within a "very" short time span.

If they were not "positive" that Bavi works....they would have never went after breast/lung/pabcreatic/liver....etc.....etc.....all soo quickly.

All I am saying is the Garnick hiring was the "next" sign for me to start looking more into the company....in ways I dont normally do with past stocks..... And at every corner I liked what I have seen.

I agree....that of course Dr Philip E. Thorpe was the game changer and a pure genius he was. I dont think any Drs or researchers ...or anyone going after the unknown....and to come up with maybe the biggest "golden goose" discoveries in the fight against cancer.....all should be respected and praised more so than any athlete....

The athletes would agree as well.....because having to be remembered for adding years to many individual lives will undoubtedly trump just about anything.

Well....except the Middle East and to go further....world peace....but we have too many egoes for that ...for the time being.

Lets get Bavi to market first.....and we will work on peace next : )

Ex

So my question is, what is the factual basis of this deep respect?

I will admit that when my father was alive and traded DNA otherwise know as Genentech at the time I remembered the name, Garnick. I won't go into detail of my dads experiences/credibility but for him to speak highly of anyone in the Biotech field speaks volumes to me.

I indeed can not hang my hat on the results of any trials just because of Garnick however, to question your quote above "factual basis of the deep respect" ... I think you need to question yourself first of what basis you have to even ask of a man that has the track record of such success.

I believe that we have the best chance possible because Mr. Garnick is in the saddle for us and with Dr.T's life long work I would hope that Bavi finally surfaces to help all that need it ..

Good luck to you, with all deep respect.
