Depends on how much you are playing with. Several here make 25k + a month.

As you've seen by the several responses, it is possible. However, it's also possible to lose 25k in a year (or a month or a week or a day) trading options. It all depends on your level of knowledge of stocks and options, how you trade, how disciplined you are, etc. So not to sound rude or critical but your question isn't exactly meaningful as it stands. If you were to go to a forum for auto mechanics and asked if anyone had designed and built their own car and if it were possible, you'd likely get at least a couple folks saying they've done it and it's possible. But that doesn't help you understand if you presently have the knowledge and skills to do it too. So why do you ask?

oh sure, its possible........depends on how big of a gambler you are.........but your thinking is ALREADY screwed up penny........you are already thinking of the big score.........i wouldnt do that........some do really really well on options, and the trick is to HOLD those profits......MOST CANT!......back in late 08 i made 75k last quarter playing options.......first quarter of 09, i gave it all back and another 10k.......i dont gamble any more.........

so how much honesty can you handle?...........

for every poster that is talking about the big $$........you also have to consider that some are lying!

this is a messageboard isnt it.........if you look up 'lying' in the dictionary.......it will say: any stock messageboard
as a matter of fact, i know some guys on messageboards who live for the messageboardbj/attaboys.

all the above being said: we police this board better than any other board anywhere on the internet and when something is way out of wack.......we delete it!

Penny, when i get a chance, ill go back and look at all the times it has happened to me in the last 24 months. But I have been promising OptionMillionaire SUBS a "where are we headed" post since January, so may take some time.

Moral of the story is that mentality will have you staring at 25k+ in losses rather then 25k in profits. You need to focus on being profitable, and the big 25k+ winners will happen. Those focusing on the haymakers, will find a decimated account in a matter of days, if not hours.

Here is one of my big trades at the start of 2012 that took time, patience, and conviction. All ingredients for the big gains. Most will happen when folks think ti can't or wont. And your brain needs to be fixed a right way for plays like these to happen. As normal, intelligent folks will not hold a $5k gain.. they will sell. Where stupid people like myself, hold until its a 50k gain (or worthless)
