So if the "cut off" date to own shares is May 20th, why are they accepting investors info now? What's keep you from getting those 1141 preferred and selling your load on the bid right now? How are they going to verify that you still own those shares as of May 20th? At CDF*, folks are already getting their preferred certs in the mail and the cut off isn't until May 13th.

Here's one possibility IMO. They need as many of us as possible to obtain preferred shares b/c the value of all of those shares will be used as equity on the balance sheets.

So maybe they really don't care. It's like they are handing out preferred shares to anyone who has ARNH in their current portfolio. They are marketing this as a way for past losers in ARNH to get their money back.
