IMO you cannot compare VRNG and WDDD because all WDDD has is the one patent case and no money. If they lose at Markmen now what? VRNG has 500 patents a ringtone business and 60 Million in the bank and is in settlement talks with Microsoft and could be a takeover target is listed on NASDQ

Yes, and good thing you mentioned that phenomenal ringtone business, as this completely tips the scales for VRNG. (sarcasm here!)

The only comparison point between VRNG and WDDD would be to compare VRNG during their pre-Markman days last year and not to VRNG today. In fact, VRNG would be a much closer comparison to DSS since both companies went thru mergers AND THEN went thru Markman, providing multiple catalysts.

Catalyst plays are catalyst plays regardless of the tickers.

"Investing" in VRNG vs WDDD is a completely different matter. VRNG can be argued to be a worthwhile "investment" right now, but it would be difficult to argue that WDDD is at that stage at this point in time. A great "speculative investment" for sure, but not necessarily a true "investment". WDDD is still in its infancy, but should Markman go well and a favorable outcome w/ATVI is attained, then WDDD would then garner the attention of legitimate long-term (and deep-pocketed) investors, such as TUTs/funds (not just the hedgies).

They are different animals, but lets not forget, Vringo didn't have any of those goodies you mentioned until around this time last year, prior to that they only had 1 lawsuit also, but were already at $3+. Vringo is mature compared to WDDD, but WDDD could be there a year or two from now with just as many toys. The main difference being price right now, WDDD from 40c to $3 is a 7 bagger, don't think anyone will be getting a 7 bagger out of Vringo, those days are long gone.IMO

Big difference is one can be a +10 bagger in 6 months.

Vringo could be a huge winner and I hope it is, but not in this ballpark.
