wave positioning

so this is the treasured concept. wave foresaw the future and got there first. when everyone catches up, wave has a huge advantage.

it's certainly an appealing idea. if the future comes to where wave is waiting, then wave surely has some advantages over the newbies.

the question is, envisaging the future as a bush of alternatives, will the market travel down the right branch and twig to the place wave imagines for it in a timeline that works for investors?

if it does, great.

decades pass.

paint dries.

if it does not, and after a while one does have to consider it, wave has invested heavily in an arid place that yields little income and that costs a helluva lot to keep in vittles.

so changing analogies, rather than adopting desert real estate and investing heavily in it and pronouncing it valuable, perhaps the measure of good positioning is the market's arrival along a foreseeable timeline.

wave can invest forever in tc and investors can keep on hoping. but the arrival of people willing to pay to use it is a key factor in the discussion.

i dunno. i guess i always return to my theme that it's a demand game. and that time counts.

i must be eccentric!
