#25448 RE: QyQ #25447

QyQ , It looks like the ANI execs bonuses ate the $2 million difference in cash requirement from the old deal and the new one ($18 million vs $16 million). The 4 ANI executives were to receive $707,705 to $3,309,410 in bonuses, now they will receive $489,416 to $2,336,186. This is the reward for giving up their existing options and taking ANI public. The downward manipulation of Biosante PPS and purposeful devaluation of the deal no doubt contributed to voter apathy and greatly reduced their bonuses.

As for Simes and Donenberg no change.

Stephen M. Simes gets $1,490,100 cash + $87,949 benefits = $1,578,049 (no change from previous deal)

Phillip B. Donenberg gets $770,000+ $74,156 = $844,156 (no change from previous deal)

In reality the vote for compensation for Simes and Donenberg is almost irrelevant. The vote is non-binding and much of the money Biosante is legally bound by the termination contracts they signed.
