It is good to always be skeptical IMO. I don't think in terms of "false hopes" like Run but I do think in terms of "hard work" as in a hard uphill climb. IMO everything in front of WSGI is hard work right now.
If I were in Glenn's position I would have primary emphases and secondary emphases and, yes, even tertiary emphases. I would have my primary emphases be delivery of second BiB unit, replacing LJC funding and securing a second spiral of BiB contracts. My secondary emphases would be investigating funding for setting up a BiB production facility, continued Argus militarization and/or commercialization and GTC revenue enhancement. My tertiary emphases would be enhancement of LTASCorp revenue streams, new product development (including very limited stratospheric research) and BiB commercialization.
This ignores, of course, internal priorities I cannot see from my vantage point. This would include things like eliminating legacy legal issues, managing/triaging inadequate cash flow, SEC requirements, etc. That is a lot of plates to keep spinning with a small staff and a few friendly corporate partners IMO. If you can do it, however, the pay off could be big IMO. But who wouldn't be skeptical of a small team's capacity to pull this off?
For me, I look at the 12+ emphases/priorities above and ask myself if I see good evidence that management and partners are working on them to some degree within priority. If so, I am encouraged. Long answer but I would envision Argus as a second tier priority/emphasis and, in Glenn's place, would have second level effort and entities addressing it. I would not, however, be ignoring it. IMO Glenn is not. JMHO. Real, I personally think reality is found in the most accurate big picture view you can construct. The paragraphs above represent my best efforts at the moment. Reality is always our friend IMO. That is why I always have high regards for all your thoughts and reflections. Sincerely, IndyJonesOhio
