#231322 RE: mymoneybgone #231321

There is no way Wave will survive the 2nd rs. There are no more fools left to buy any shares of this pos either pre-split or after. They can do a 1:10 rs and the sp will still not hold above $1 for 10 days. Mark my words! sp will be a few pennies by August, and that's post the rs of course.
DOD, MSFT, Samsung... Lies, lies and more lies!!!
I laugh when I read that nobody heard of Wave. Of course not. People don't hear about you unless you advertise yourself. Dah! Advertising of course costs money, something Wave does not have because it all gets funneled into the pockets of the Spragues family members.
Even if by some miracle, a company learns of Wave, once they look up and research Wave, what do they find? The same thing of course that everybody reading this message board knows. Fishy family run outfit, arrogant, dishonest, no customer support, no money... Will they be there in 6 months? Probably not. So do you think any CIO or CFO or CEO of a large enterprise will entrust the security of his company to Wave Systems? That's a rhetorical question, of course. If somebody does, he or she deserves to be fired immediately, and these folks do not wanna get fired, trust me! And so, there have been no contracts for 2+ years and won't be any, EVER!

hi mmbg,

you don't need to justify the lack of a revenue announcement this way. it is very clear in the 10k that wave expects to need $6m to finance itself in 2013. if they had a major deal which obviated the need, there would be no cash requirement.

but i really don't understand the folks who are up in arms about the rs. the rs arises due to wave's inability to forecast (which led to disappointing cash management), to the horrible performance over the last year. the thing to be bothered about are the causes, not the effect.

there are other things to peruse in the shm announcement. the same gimmick re authorised shares, for instance, which suggests that dilutive development is a good possibility for several years.

but all of this should not be a surprise. wave has characterised itself through the years. it performs how it does because the folks in charge make the decisions they do. if you want to have the same team running the show, expect them to run it the same way.

so the key question is, do you want more of the same? because they are trying to make it very difficult for any change to occur from here on out. and obviously there are a number of shareholders wedded to the status quo who have extraordinary influence.
