A lot of what you say could be feasible but the US economy apparently is NOT doing as well as expected due to the sluggish jobs recovery and other huge issues including the " budget " looming on the horizon.
Most Americans know the " jobs numbers " are phoney because they do NOT reflect the number of Americans who have gone by the wayside and dropped out of site and off of the unemployment lines. Just one more reason for LESS oil being used!
Now with Obamacare on the horizon, some companies have already started to hire more PT workers and cut the hours of the PT workers they already have to compensate for the extra payroll additions. I believe all Americans will start to see the resulting effect of this mess by mid 2014. Really don't think America will like what they may be in for.
The Dems are apparently starting to back paddle on some of the issues and just where to get the money from for all of the " quick fixes " our economy needs. In the end I suspect we will have at least one more year of indecisiveness with both parties and our " lame duck " president will gyrate until 2014 when the elections should be very interesting this time around.
I fully expect the markets as a whole will be manipulated once again by Congress with their inability to make any straight forward decisions and with their " insider " knowledge, the average investor is smart enough now ( after the last 2-3 years ) to see how they are bleeding the markets while fattening up their portfolios. Most investors will be tightening up their purse strings for yet another yo-yo portfolio ride!
Bottom line, I expect yet another 12-18 mos. of what has already taken place with ERF. I do NOT see a huge jump in the NG or oil markets unless the Oil Cartel get fed up with all of the BS going on and start putting pressure on the markets. Has been quite a long time since we have heard from them.
I believe your totally correct......patience is the key to any worthwhile investment such as ERF. Oil and all of the by-products are in our society to stay and won't be going away in anyone's lifetime.
