Just my two cents re the price decline. I think
ERF has declined due to the perception that the
USD will be stronger in the future vs the canadian
dollar. The US Fed has been jawboning that stimulus
will end mid year and that interest rates would be
increased due to stronger US economic growth in 2013.
ERF distributions are paid in Canadian dollars,
hence the price decline is due to the perception that
the USD will be increasing in the future vs the CAD.

Also ERF price fluctuates with the movements
of the $xoi. The traders hit hard when the $xoi
is declining and they buy when the index is
moving up. I think the buy and hold crowd have
been long gone. Nobody who is conservative and wants
distributions can stand this kind of stomach churning
volatility.

I just checked the Zacks web site and they have
a strong buy #1 rating on ERF. I think we just need
to be patient here, let the USD decline as is
deserving of this currency.Oil prices and gas prices
will be higher later this year.Hang in there!cheers
