So JR...would this be a good explanation of cadre training?

Initial Cadre Check Airman (ICCA) Training Program
You must have initial cadre ch
eck airmen during the early ph
ases of establishing a check
airman program.
Your initial check airman candid
ates must first become fully
qualified as flight crewmembers and then be
trained, evaluated, and approved as
check airmen
.
Before the FAA can evaluate an airman fo
r approval as a check airman, all required
training must be completed. The airman’s
training records must show satisfactory
completion of initial, transition, or upgrad
e training and all training required under the
operator’s approved check airman training pr
ogram for the specified classification.
When the airman’s records show that the
airman has previously completed a required
curriculum segment, the segment does not have to be repeated.
The process described in FAA Order 8900.1,
Volume 3, Chapter 20, Section 2
is valuable
for your startup operation as a practical way
to bootstrap a check
airman program into
existence. It describes:
•
The letter of request you must submit
to nominate candidates for check airman
•
The FAA’s process for granting temporary and permanent approval
•
Requirements for Initial Tr
aining and Certification
•
Requirements for gaining pr
oficiency as instructors
•
Proficiency and Competency Checks
•
Required Operating Experience
