There could be discounts associated with a 2G/3G deal. You know, $20M, here; $100M, there and pretty soon, you're talking about real money. Imagine how much pressure Samsung is putting on NOK. JMHO-Oso

amr: I agree with you. I believe that Nokia is so delusional that they actually think the SDNY judge might overturn the arbitration decision. They are not a rational company. Pre-payment discounts will not coax them to settle, because they don't even care about the additional interest that they'll have to pay by not paying the arb award immediately.
