You've got to dig a little deeper to get to the real answer. Problem was with Square-Enix, who backed out of the GO project. After that it seems like Mastiff didn't want to pursue the idea anymore, but Danny did, so here we are. This is conjecture based on my own DD of course, but that's the story as far as I can tell. IENT's gain is Mastiff's loss, plain and simple. Nothing but upside here.

The share structure of IENT can be found in the filings at the SOS in NC. There are 200M A/S. The amendment was done on May 29, 2012. There are 20M preferred shares and 180M commons. The BOD is fixed at nine members.

When JW bought IENT back he and his friends from YPO bought up everything they could to re-gain control of IENT so they own most of the stock. That left a float of around 12M for investors.
