Yes, and Vascepa's 36 month shelf life/expiration easily eclipses that of Lovaza.

One of the main problems facing over-the-counter fish oil pills has been that the oils are prone to becoming rancid. Amarin has found a way to prevent "rancidity".

Just to add to this...EPA seems to be the most unstable, the most likely to go rancid..

FYI..I did take PlusEPA and it did not have the same effect on my eyes..
