"I'm gonna experiment today and directly EPA one eye topically and take a picture.."

Williams...I'm not sure I would recomend you using EPA topically on your eye...EPA is handled in the body in a composition different from the product you ingest...Check with an opthamologist..

I am not taking Restasis..(pretty expensive)..I have stopped all other treatment and am off aspirin..

I did talk to my opthomologist this morning...He is very interested in Vascepa. I could see this being an important indication...Restasis is not that great...

Williams: Any topical eye drop, in order for it not to be irritating, has to be buffered and resemble the electrolytes found in tears. Your home made preparation could be quite irritating and I would discourage it. Also, Restasis changes the cellular structure of the lacrimal gland in an effort to promote more tears. It must be used for a 3 month a period to assess effectiveness and often it fails to do much good. It has, however, a huge market. Allergan, the manufacturer of Restasis, would, I am sure, be interested in exploring an EPA eye drop, not only for dry eye but for all kinds of external and intra-ocular inflammations, some of which can be blinding.
